Hand 1 I would have thought a check raise on the flop - but suspect he has a straight here or trips so pitch your hand
Hand 2 - raise pre flop, Bet more on the flop and go all in on the river.
Hand 1 - Yeah - made a real mess of first hand. Not sure about a raise there - pretty marginal I think - I raise some, call some and fold some depending on the players calling.
Really horrible flop for me and butchered there after. I thought he either had a made hand or was on a draw. I put him allin and he called with KQ for the straight. My worst hand of the night. Trying to work out the best way to find out if I'm good. A big check raise sounds good.
Hand 2 - I did get it allin on the river and got called. I was on two minds on the flop whether to go after maximising value from a single ace or trying to make it an attractive enough price for a flush draw to tag along. Min raise on the turn always means monster so I was quite happy getting money against him fast then and just hoping he didn't have AT or AQ!
So in hand 2 what did he have?
Hand 1 - he had KQ.
Hand 2 - he mucked.
