1st hand - Fold
2nd hand - Pot bet - see where you are
3rd hand - call. Why check behind on the flop?
4th hand - Why are you calling pre-flop? Bet like 6 here - hope for a raise.
Hand 1 - It should have been a fold agreed. My thinking was that while I was probably beat there were some combo straight/flush draw hands that could have made this move. Most likely he had AQ or the flush. I made a bad call and connected on the river to give me the full house. Donkey play rewarded!
Hand 2 - Two opponents are shorties. There is $19 in the pot and they both have around $12 left.
Hand 3 - I check behind because if he has the Ace or trips then I'm behind and I'll save money. If he has QQ then it will enable me to get more money out of him and possibly even another bet out of TT. By the river I was pretty worried as it looked like a value bet. I called hoping for Queens and he showed JJ for trips on the flop.
Hand 4 - The guys stats were such that he almost certainly had a big pair here (Raising % was 2% I think). My initial call was loose but the guys to my left were very passive and I was departing from my normal game plan in seeing a few hands in late position with the occasional connector confident I would get to see a flop. Probably not good enough a hand to do it though! When the raise is made I reckon I'm getting good enough implied odds here to see the flop. I need a big flop to carry on and thats what I get. So an allin on the river or less after he checks?
Hand 4 - I put him allin. He thought and thought. Mrs P was watching at this point and I was telling her that people just can't fold Aces.......at the last possible second he calls and turns over his rockets. Ship it!
