50NL on Poker 4 Ever
Hand 1
I raise under the gun with AKo (no spade) and get two callers. First guy is loose and likes to call any raise. Second guy has been very quiet and has just over $60 just covering me.
Flop: Kspades 8spades 4 clubs.
Pot: $5.50
Checked to me and I bet 3.50. BB calls.
Pot: 12.50
Turn: A spades
I bet $7.50 and he calls.
River: 9 diamonds.
He checks.

Hand 2
Background first. The earlier loose caller of above. I raise QQ on the button (1.75) having started off pretty loose at the table playing 4 hands in my first round of the table.
Short stack calls. Flop comes 336. He has $8 left and pushes. I call and felt him.
More background. I have 99 on the Big Blind and with four callers I raise to $3.40 and everyone folds.
The very next round exactly the same happens. Four callers and I have 99 again. This time I bet $2.50.
The loose guy calls me only.
Flop
J42 rainbow.
Pot: $6.50
He pushes for $14.
My play?

Hand 1 the guy has been loose and is now only calling i would check and see, bullies usually go quiet on a good hand.
Hand 2 I would call as it fits with the above statement he's bullying so is wary of something.
now you will tell me I'm wrong on both counts, the problem with these "what would you do" scenerios is unless you are playing and seeing all other moves and betting styles its always 50 50.
you have to be one with the cards and players and conditions to really evaluate the next move.
To clarify In the first hand. The guy who calls and then gives up is the same opponent from Hand 1. the guy who puts me allin with a deepish stack has been playing tight.
In Hand 2 - I agree. It does completely depend on reads. This was early on in the session so I've given you the main actions that I had to base my decision on.
1) This was the third raise he had called from me. He pushed once on the 633 board - he may have had JJ or worse or been on a complete bluff. He folded once to my c/bet and this third time. He had been felted once and doubled up against another stack.
He is obviously pushing light. So the question is he pushing with worse than top pair.
I'll post results in a bit. Let you reassess Hand 1 if you like.
Sorry the guy who gives up on the flop in Hand 1 is the same guy who pushes in Hand 2(and is loose).
"You have to be one with the cards and players and conditions to really evaluate the next move."
Are you attending the Obi Wan Kenobis school of poker Moocher.
With posted hands you can obviously only make the call with the info you have available. You can easily make the right play and lose the hand so results aren't that important.
