BB has $70 and I cover. He has been fairly tight 20/15/3 and is capable of getting it in without the nuts. He had reraised my raises four times. I played back on the 5th attempt and stacked him with AA v AK. He reloaded and has built up his stack since then. He seems pretty solid and I haven't seen him do anything unusual at all.
Button limps. I call with pocket 3s and BB checks.
Flop A63 rainbow.
I bet $1.10
BB bets $3.50
I raise $6.50
BB raises $22.50
I call.
Turn A ( still rainbow)
I check
BB bets $25
Phillberto?

I would say the way you describe him as solid. With his heavy bet on the ace and another showing I would fold, he could just have a 6 or any PKT pair you would like to think of but the way he went on the flop I would not risk it. He could just be bullying you out of stupidity for felting him before but I don't think so. Of course I have been known to be wrong now and again. Mooch
blart
I'm not sure why you call on the flop - raise him all in here I would think.BTW your raise amounts are "to" rather than "by" I am guessing - makes his Turn bet a lot weaker depending.
His range definitely includes a weak ace out of the BB so I would struggle to see a reason to call here.I think he had 45 for a OESD and you felt him......
I mean USUALLY I would struggle to see a reason to call but in this case.....
Ok here was my thinking. There are two hands that are ahead of me on the flop. AA and 66. He limped preflop and after our 3 betting duals I doubt he was letting two players limp into him with AA (Even 66 I would expect him to bet out) So 66 is possible as are any 2 pair and 45 for the OESD. In retrospect I guess both of us limping are therefore unlikely to have Aces with decent kickers here although at the time I played it as if he had a High Ace. I think another reraise from me would have scared of a solitary ace that may continue to bet if checked to. I did think the action was just a bit too fast for 45 so opted to just call and maximise against Ax and two pairs.
The Ace on the turn would normally be a great card and give me a great chance of stacking Ax. It puts me behind to the most likely two pairs though. Given that we are fairly deep though and the preflop action I think it may have been possible to find a fold her actually.
In lhindsight A6 or 66 are the only hands that make sense for him to have. I think we would even check behind here with 63 given the action.its pretty fast for a draw but I guess its possible he could have it.
With trips I wasn't capable of making the laydown here though - not entirely sure it is. I decided that with 45 and Ax as possibilities I was best to just get it allin then when he raised to $25.
He showed A6 and hit quad Aces anyway on the river.
$140 pot but still a winning day just.
