What would have happened if you checked the turn? I check here and see what happens, most likely you're boy has j10 or some crap.

Yeah I pushed. reckoned if he was beating me he would put it allin so thought I'd do it myself. He had 8 9 and hit two pairs on the flop. His minraise on the turn basically get me pot committed. I feel I misplayed this but trying to work out where. Many possible draws (including mine on the flop). If I had a big hand I'd bet it. Check call on the turn maybe would be a better play? Then check call on the river or check fold?
