Mmmm. A big overpair is unlikely unless he is really bad. You are both likely to have mid suited connectors type hands there. I can see him making this play with trips. Except your two pair makes the more likely trips Ts and 8s less likely.
There is also the possibilty he made a move from the blinds after you both showed weakness (expecting to take it down on theflop or on a c-bet). He then hit the nuts and hoped to get paid off from T8 or a flush/straight draw combo.
AcKc maybe a possibility. Trying to push off a lot of hands and still having 18 outs.
He may also have a big draw combo himself. I'm thinking you can't call with much and if you do hehas a lot of outs.
If he is bad he may just be playing JJ scared and worried about playing a big pot OOP with somany draws. Its a tough to put him on a hand. He has something but its either the nuts or a scared bet.The preflop raise means he is more likely to have a decent hand but the push is more conducive withthe nuts (or near nuts) or a combo draw. Let me plump for Jc9c, 66 or 97.

Let me plump for 'Walking back to Houston' - AcKc.

Villain had ATo

I think I got there in the end working out the preflop raise meant he was unlikely to have a monster there.

Again terrible play by villain folding out all hands that he is ahead of.
Nice call there.
