Bonii

I've been toiling away at possibly the slowest bonus ever I've had to clear. Having failed to clear a U$130 bonus at Stars before my summer vacation I then signed up for a $145 bonus. It clears at the exceedingly modest rate of 0.56c per hour at 25NL giving me an hourly bonus rate of just over $2 with my current multi-tabling ratio.

Poker Stars also rates at D+ in Bonus Whores Game Quality Rankings meaning its one of the tougher sites around at this level.

I'm now approaching the dilemma of where to go for my next bonus. Poker Host is attractive with average game qualite and a bonus that should amount to around US$5.70 an hour. Only problem is the max bonus is $2,000 and you only have 3 months to clear it so I'd need to be playing 30 hours a week to clear it! Obviously not possible. At 50NL I could clear it playing 17.5 hours a week which is still a bit ambitious. I think it may be holding back on doing this until the circumstances suit me better but bonus terms are usually short-lived.

Eurolinx offer a similar deal (US$1,000 with 2 months) but its an all or nothing bonus. Poker Host at least pays out in 10% installments. Even at 50NL that is 14.5 hours a week which is above my current rate of hours.

Another option is Sun Poker which offers a special Moneybookers bonus (which I'm about to switch to) which will work out at $9 per hour for the first $100 and $6 for the second. The problem is the Game Quality is D+ and it is a network where I have struggled on previously.

It does have the appeal of hopefully adding $100 on to any winnings I can muster after a normal weeks play.

Decisions, decisions. I think as I've been playing at a tough site in Stars I'll go with Sun Poker and see if my new improved poker playing can enable me to beat a crypto and take down a quick bonus.
