I squeeze in an hour of two tabling on the 6GBP tables. I rack up a $20 win and call it a night. I'm enjoying dominating the games again and limited myself to one calling of a bet I later regretted. Bigshot tries to make amends for his dramatic slide by limiting his playing time and keeping his focus and recovers by a similar amount.
Moocher hovers around the breaking even mark at the moment although confesses to having been done $100 as his low-water mark. He is living the dream at the moment with his entry into the fourth Stage of the EPT qualifiers. He tripled up early on when he slow played his pocket Aces, hit trips and saw a shove and a caller in front of him. He then folded his way to the next round - even mucking pocket 10s as the action swirled around him. A win in the next stage one could argue would actually make him the biggest winner of the year so far although actually turning that into cash will be a challenge and a half.
In my short term mission of turning around my losing stats at Interpoker I'm half-way through wiping out my 6GBP losses. The 10GBP losses are only $10 so around half a stack which I hope won't take too long. By then I hope I have a big enough stack to stand up to variance on the GBP20 tables and 25NL to negate the negative stats there at which point I expect to claim a $100 and leave!
As for the Monte Carlo question - Rick may well be able to update us on the latest status of his EPT mission soon. The month end stats are a few days away and he is bang on level for the year. Will he manage to end the month showing a positive figure and take a baby step away from the threat of Bust?
