Bad news first I think. My Netvigator account isn't working. After the engineer failing to turn up twice and the helpline ringing out for 20 minutes last night I'm a tad frustrated with PCCFW. No prizes for guessing what adjective the F represents. The good news is that my computer is knackered as well so even if I could get online I couldnt play. Actually that's more bad news. A trip to Wanchai computer centre required.
So what is the good news. Well apart from having a live game to look forward to on Saturday I received a reply from my support chums at Paradise. While still not resolving my question about transferring my account to US$ or missing decimal points from my bets they did give me US$50 to 'give me a chance to try the software'. It was written by someone with a little common-sense as well and I may even end up finishing my first deposit bonus now. We will see.
The Live game seems to be set for Saturday night and I have the afternoon babysitting and watching Sleeping Beauty at Grappas to look forward to. Will they have real dwarves? That is the question at the forefront of my thoughts.
And what I have more live poker news? Really? Yes indeed - a flyer turned up in the office for a Texas Holdem night every Thursday at Drop. Happy hour drinks and free prizes for winners. Sponsored by Pravda vodka. Sounds like it might be worth a visit. Chaps what say you?
