From Deadly...Jesus speaks...

Reading in between the lines he is telling me to do it! Or maybe that was God himself whispering in my ear.
By the way the 200NL players disdainfully talk about the 'micros' I may have a way to go.
I do think the key factor in my 'plan' is that I'd be trying to finance an extended holiday in a country that you can live the good life for buttons.
So dissecting his points:
Are you making more money than you are at your current working environment?
Hell no. Unlikely to be too. Hence the holiday angle.
Constistant winning player over 6 months?
Yes. Small potatoes but yes.
It will become a grind.
Yup probably will. First 3 months though will be exciting and a challenge. Thereafter who knows. If I don't like it then the holiday ends.
You want to be playing when other players are off their game.
With internet play this is less relevant and its easier to catch tired Americans and drunken Europeans playing at a reasonable hour in Asia.
Might not play enough.
I reckon I'll make a big effort to be pretty disciplined. Then again if it becomes a grind I don't have too.
You should have long, profitable periods that serve as evidence of your abilities.
Mmmm. Not quite there yet.
You should have put in enough hours to know that you can really enjoy the game, even when it becomes the center of your professional life.
I can see it being a drag when you are playing a lot and losing!
You should know that you can endure some long, tough, unlucky stretches.
Hope I don't see any of these too early.
If you're really sure you’ve got what it takes and poker does become your career, I look forward to meeting you at the table.
Errm table selection, dude. I don't think so.
