Worth a post in itself this one. Deadly has the first recorded Royal straight flush in lamma history. Unfortunately it wasn't in a Bond film so the board wasn't paired with the villain holding Aces over Kings so his pot was quite meagre.
Give us the details then Deadly. Did you get over-excited and overbet, folding everyone or did you play it canny and squeeze a dollar or two out of your opponent and get to show it?
It comes around every 650,000 hands so assuming 65 hands an hour with you managing an average of ten hours a week then round about twenty years from now I'd bump up the stakes and make sure you are playing deep. I just wish I could use a Royal flush as an alarm clock for work!
Yawn! is that really twenty years passed already- see you tonight honey.

Had A10 of diamonds on the button (i think) in a 6 person ring game (.5/1). Everyone limps and I min raise I think - pretty much everyone calls. Flop is AKQ 2 diamonds. Checked around. Turn is another King. Checked around and then river is Jack of diamonds. Check check check min Bet (me)and no-one called! I had already turned off the automuck....
If I can find the HH (which will no doubt show I am wrong above) on Cardoza then I'll post it for posterity.
It seems I was completely wrong -
I was SB - everyone limped.
Flop was JdAcJs - checked round
Turn was Kd - one guy bets .5 and 3 of us call
River was Qd - check, bet $2 - I call (why?), fold, fold and showdown.
Pot was $8.10
In my defence I was too excited and didn't want to miss the chance to get it!
