So another Live game comes to pass and quite a success it proves. A few beers, plenty of action and a reasonable number of hands per hour with genial company to make amends for only having one table on the go.
The end results;
Bigshotbog: The nights biggest winner +HK$670
Sham: +HK$140
Pete: +HK$60
Moocher: -HK$20
Phillberto: -HK$180
Chris:-HK$200
Deadly: -HK$420
Figures don't quite work out but are close enough.
First hand of note Deadly raised up from the button. Moocher after limping calls the raise and its a two way pot.
Flop: J53 rainbow
Moocher bets half pot and Deadly responds with raising it up.
the turn doesn't appear to help amd Moocher comes out firing again. Deadly opts for a call this time.
River is checked down.
Moocher KJ loses to top pair top kicker as Deadly draws first blood.
The action hots up soon after when a three way limped pot between Deadly, Bigshot and Sham.
Action flop of KJ10 with two hearts shows up.
Action flop it is and when all three get allin we are expecting some pretty good hands to be shown.
Deadly's shows K 10 and begins to realise he might just be beat. Moocher and Bigshot both show AQ for the nuts and the turn and river prove meaningless.
Split pot but Deadly is forced to make an early buy in.
I think I'm missing a few feltings here so feel free to fill in the gaps and I'll edit later.
Bigshot and Moocher I believe.
Bigshot and Moocher clash again and this time they both have pretty sizeable stacks in front of them.
Flop: A 6 3 seems to inspire a lot of action.
Deadly makes the early running with a raise on the flop.
He raises to HK$100 on the turn when a card 4 falls on the turn. Deadly faces a reraise for another HK$100 which he calls.
River doesn't seem to alter anything and Bigshot pushes. Deadly calls.
Bigshot show 45 for the straight.
Deadly mucks his trip 6's.
Tough to find a fold with that hand but maybe against Bigshot he could just have found one.
Deadly has to rebuy and the money on the table continues to grow.
His stack has already been dwindled down when Pete arrives late to join the action. He sees Phillberto's first tussle of the evening.
Deadly raised from the button.
Phillberto calls from the button and Chris who had limped in from early position opts to call.
Flop: 563 with two hearts
doesnt seem like an action flop but its good enough for deadly to push.
Phillberto ponders and calls.
Chris also calls and a Jack on the turn seems harmless.
Phillberto pushes and Chris ponders for a moment calling without too much confidence it seems.
Deadly shows KK
Philberto shows 55 giving him trip 5's and Chris shows a 4 for an open ended straight draw.
Two outs for deadly and eight for Chris.
River is a two and Chris takes down a pot in the region of HK$600.
The very next hand Phillberto raises on the button with a pitifully reduced stack. Bigshot maybe sensing tilt calls.
Flop: 10 8 4
Phillberto prices a bet and then decides that he will bhe pot committed with any bet so pushes.
Bigshot calls, shows AQ
Phillberto shows 107 and is 75% favourite.
Once again the river hits . This time its a Queen and Bigshot despite his prvious buy-ins is sitting pretty with a big stack including the newly introduced black chips.
Phillberto buys back in and Pete joins a table with a lot of action going on.
Next big hand sees Deadly and Moocher lock horns.
The pot builds up pretty quickly and with K Q 10 9 4 (rainbow)showing on the board Deadly puts in a big raise to HK$100.
Moocher not only calls but puts him allin.
With most of his stack already committed deadly is put in a tough spot.
Everyone puts him on a J so is Moocher trying to scare him off from an otherwise split pot or does he hold the nuts.
Once again Deadly is in a tough spot.
he calls and Moocher flips Aj and its buy in time again for deadly once again.
More to follow.....

Luckily for me I didn't get felted on that last hand. An ace came on the river to save my blushes and keep my losses within manageable levels.
Thought the game was great, very interesting styles and definitely for me the K10 2 pair vs 2 straights hand was crucial. If (big if) that held up (and they both flopped the nuts) then I would have been up to 900+ in chips really early on. Had both of them covered and then some.
Otherwise standard variance - I like the way Chris plays - perhaps next time All in any time I get a face card?
Oh and I was definitely crushing the red or black and high card side games!
GG LoL cashgameaments!
